Mahjong is a friendly game of interaction.

Poker wise, when things intensify. When All in comes in where AA vs KK and All in pre flop.
Either side wins or loses, ultimately the friendship is gone.

This kinda game can only be played against potential fishes or people you do not like.

They call the pros sharks. the noobs fishes.

Poker has a buy-in option so how much you buy in greatly affects how much you get to win (All-In). So my friends are quite comfortable. Out of chips, buy-in if within your means. Anyone who has a large pool of chips are either comfortable with the amount he/she is playing or has won it earlier on; which is perfectly fine if he loses it back as his initial buy-in could be as low as $50.

So I beg to differ bout the poker part.  Smiley

regardless dai dee,mj or poker..all are friendly games when played morally e.g with  frenz within the limits or stakes limit in terms of passing time,leisure,or out for some thrill/luck/winnings..it all pins down to the character of individual or what we call smelly leg that affects the mood/relationship of the gameplay
